Granny Squares!

I am so very excited about these little granny squares that are being stitched up by the lovely Thea, my talented new found facebook friend who is awesome on the crochet needle I must say! Thea agreed to help me make up these sweets to adorn an outside portion of the shop, MORE colour, exactly what we want:) I will be sure to let you know how it turns out!

If anyone is interested Thea also holds 'crochet your granny' classes. Check them out here.

Love the colours! I'm sure your shop is going to look even prettier after being adorned with these!

Yummy square wooly goodness! Curious Crafters in Mildura held a learn to Crochet workshop at Fine & Sunny. Make sure you post the finished product, looking forward to seeing it. YAY for crochet!

thanks for the 'blast from the past' reminder ... my Nanna (who has been dead for 15 years now) made me a wonderful croquet blanket and I had packed it away in my keepsake box ... but now I am going to bring it out and use it on my couch ... thanks again for reminding me and making me smile with such a great memory

So pretty! I have to move back in with my Mum and she is going to teach me how to make these! (I'm teaching her how to make paper flower brooches in return!)

they're so cute! I can't wait to see what you do with them. I found a fantastic haul of nanna blankets last week - the colours are so amazing!
